Presbyterian Church 25th Anniversary
I had the pleasure of attending the Presbyterian Church, on behalf of Council, in Wasaga Beach for a double milestone. We celebrated their 25th anniversary as a Church in our community as well as the 100th anniversary of the building itself. The church building, which was originally a Community Church, was moved to its present location in 1997 and its first Presbyterian service was Christmas 1997.
Wasaga Cruisers Car Show
The Wasaga Cruisers Car Club had a beautiful sunny day for their event at the Wasaga Sports Park. I was told by organizers that there were approximately 450 vehicles on display and more were arriving. I applaud the Club for bringing this event to Wasaga and showcasing our beautiful community. Well done!
The Wasaga Beach’s Garden Club 25th Anniversary
The Wasaga Beach Garden Club celebrated their 25th anniversary this past weekend. Mayor and Council attended the event and brought congratulations as well as a plaque to commemorate the anniversary. The Club is flourishing with a healthy membership and we congratulate them for all the work they do in our community to beautify our surroundings.
