As a Wasaga Beach Rotarian for 35 years, it was my great pleasure in presenting 2 Paul Harris Awards to members of our community.
Reverend Wendy Moore, recently retired from the Prince of Peace Anglican Church in Wasaga Beach, was honoured with a Certificate, Pin, and Medallion. Reverend Wendy has been a shining light for her parishioners in the church for many years and continues her good work by volunteering at the Wasaga Beach Ministerial Foodbank each week.
Craig Williams is the Deputy Fire Chief for the Town of Wasaga Beach and is our lead person for the Municipality during COVID. Craig along with the Command Team worked diligently and continues to work to lead our COVID response to protect Wasaga Beach staff and residents in navigating the Pandemic. Craig was instrumental in organizing and working with the COVID vaccine and testing centres that were held in Wasaga Beach.
The Paul Harris is Rotary International’s highest award. Reverend Wendy Moore and Deputy Chief Craig Williams are worthy recipients and join an illustrious group of men and women around the world.
