Wasaga Beach Rotary Club Donates To The Twin-Pad Arena and Library
As a Rotarian for 35 years and your Municipal Councillor, I am so proud of our Wasaga Beach Rotary Club and their generous donation to our new Arena and Library. Rotarians adhere to their 4 Way Test: Is it the Truth? Is it Fair to all concerned? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? This donation reflects the commitment and hard work of our Proud Rotarians.
Central Ontario ATV Gathering At The Wasaga Beach Sports Park
I was pleased to attend and bring greetings from Mayor and Council at the Central Ontario ATV Club gathering at the Wasaga Beach Sports Park. It was a well attended event and beautiful weather for a ride. ATV Clubs are well organized, respectful of the environment, always safety first, and are good for the economy.

Read this first person account from our Mayor, Nina Bifolchi, about the history of the re-development of the Beachfront. It is a cautionary account of what can happen with inexperienced leadership and blind ambition that focused all their energy on a small portion of the Town at the expense of representing all of the community. It can be argued they overpaid for the property, due diligence was not performed on the buildings, and the debt service for the purchase is approximately $900,000.00 per year for the past 7 years.
